If you’ve looked at our Testimonials page you’ll have seen reference to the proverb ‘the proof of the pudding is in the eating’ and below is a lovely testimonial received from one of our clients, Trio Hairdressing Salon, located in Berkhamsted in February 2016. If you work in the service industry, you’ll understand the importance of that simple word, ‘thanks’!

Last year, Andrew and Steve, the two partners, decided they wanted to put some proper effort and budget behind their marketing activities and asked us to come up with a proposal. We’d worked on and off together for a couple of years, but the activity was very much adhoc.

After discussing their objectives and target audience, we agreed to target 35+ ‘yummy mummies’ and more men, specifically with a view to increasing footfall through the salon. They also had a specific budget in mind.

After a period of research, our planned activities included a quarterly advert in the three issues of Living Magazine (Berkhamsted, Tring and the Hemel villages); Living Magazine is the main local title and covers not only the affluent areas that Trio wished to target but also mirror our target audience. Its a popular magazine, well read and retained for some months. We also reviewed and revitalised their Facebook page and regularly go out with multiple posts per day to increase the number of likes, and a competition helps improve the engagement.
